Rail & Intermodal Overview

Infinity is a private lessor of a variety of railcar rolling stock. Lease packages are tailored to meet customer needs, including a variety of short-term operating leases and long-term leveraged leases, as well as other assignment and deployment arrangements. Infinity prides itself on exceptional customer service and flexibility with regard to leases and railcar modifications to find the transaction and equipment to best serve our customers.

Leasing railcars under operating leases provides several advantages to lessees such as:

  • Not having to carry the related railcar values as a balance sheet item
  • Flexibility in increasing or decreasing railcar fleet size

Additional benefits for full service lessees include:

  • Reduction or elimination of the management of railcars
  • Elimination of the monitoring of regulatory requirements
  • Reduction of administrative costs

Infinity Transportation also operates an expedited refrigerated domestic intermodal container business running from the Pacific Northwest to the Midwest and East Coast. The primary focus of this business is moving frozen and refrigerated products door-to-door in 53' state-of-the-art containers. Load transit times are six days to the Midwest and eight to nine days to the East Coast. Refrigerated, frozen and dry goods are also moved back from the East Coast to the Pacific Northwest.

Repair and Upgrades

Infinity Transportation remains focused on the repair and modification of cars for use in new service areas or markets. Our aggressive repair and modification program can extend the life of your fleet or provide equipment that is specialized for your needs. We use a variety of railcar repair shops across the U.S. for our rule 88 rebuilds and AAR extended life programs.
